We’ll usually start the day at Caban café, perfectly placed between the Ogwen Valley and the Llanberis Pass. After a quick coffee and a chat about your experience and goals for the day, we’ll head out to make the most of the incredible scrambling North Wales has to offer—all within a short drive.

Whether you’ve got specific routes in mind or prefer to leave the decisions to your guide, we’ll tailor the day to suit you. We can link up classic scrambles like the North Ridge of Tryfan and Bristly Ridge on Glyder Fach, or explore lesser-known gems based on your ability and the conditions.

Throughout the day, your guide will keep safety as the top priority, while offering tips and feedback to help you move more confidently and efficiently on technical terrain. Along the way, you’ll also pick up some local insight—learning about the geological and climbing history that makes this area so special.

Anyone with a bit of hillwalking experience and a good head for heights. A good level of fitness will help you get the most out of the day.

We run guiding days throughout the year.

A day of climbing will typically last from 8 in the morning until 4/5 in the afternoon.

For 1:1 Guiding we charge £250, For 1:2 Guiding we charge £300.
